Thriller film idea – Nico Dale

A supernatural viral trend peaks the interest of an entire town, for the past month people have been acting strangely and disappearing. An up and coming detective who is studying in forensics (Natalie) has had her eye on these recent events of the town when her brother then goes missing. 

The only knowledge people have about these events are that randomly, someone will receive a text instructing them to either do a radical act such as murder a specific person or face ‘the consequences’ where they then go missing. The phone of one of the first missing people is recovered along with the instructive text which is how this knowledge is uncovered, from the recovered phone the police then warn the town of the phone number sending these texts.

Natalie decides that because there are so many missing people, she needs to take matters into her own hands to try find her brother when she gets a text herself by this mystery person, however this time, instead of an instruction she receives a text from the number saying “I see you Natalie, don’t run and don’t call for help, if you do there will be consequences” and a second following “ we’re going to play a game, I know you’re looking for him, I want you to find him by the end of tomorrow, good luck”

Natalie then pursues her goal to try find her brother whilst communicating with this mystery person. Natalie tries to uncover any clues about the where abouts of her brother, this includes asking his friends where he usually hangs out, checking his social media and exploring the areas she main suspect him to be.

In the woods near an abandoned building she uncovers the truth behind the mystery person where she uncovers the bodies of the missing people which have been branded by this mystery killer.

She then gets a call from the mystery killer whilst in the woods whom congratulates her on finding the bodies, as Natalie looks around she can see his silhouette standing there.

This is where a chase sequence then breaks out where eventually the killer catches up to Natalie and tackles her, Natalie struggles and rips of his mask in the process to reveal the killer is her brother.

The film then ends with the killer adding his brand to his sister’s body and adding her to his collection in the woods.
